Well, unfortunately we are passing on a bit of bad news. Rob’s oldest cat, Slinky, has passed away. She was about 12 years old and he rescued her from a vet’s office in Kokomo where she was supposed to be be put down after her first owner died six years ago. She was moody, like Rob can be and she would hiss at me a lot, although she did start warming up to me. We will miss Slinky and we hope Bud, Rob’s other cat, will be OK. She was being cared for at her vet’s office and she seemed to have died of natural causes. I used to always sing the Shari Lewis and Lambchop “Skinnamarinky Dinky Dink” song as “Slink a marinky dinky dink, slinkamarinky doo, I love you.”
