Takes Me Back

So, I happened across this video of kids dancing around to Britney Spears’ new single “Gimme More”. Anyway, it reminds me of making up dances and how cool the radio was when I was a kid. My cousins and I would put on radio hits and dance around. I really love the little girl dancing around with the blanket. Anyway, it makes me really nostalgic. And it makes me want to dance around the house with the music blasting.

EDIT: Apparently the parents have made this video private now so you can’t see it. Too bad, cause it was super cute.

    Dude….i knew every move to “Hit Me Baby (one more time)” and that was in college…so i don’t know about you, but this only takes me back about 6 years! I am LAMO. :)

  2. Well, yeah, I did a lot of that in college too. But seeing the kids do it reminded me of being kids with my cousins. We would do that stuff all the time.

    I love these daily musings and yes, I saw that video, too. I think I ran across it on Perez Hilton’s blog. Anyhoo, the thing in my house was Michael Jackson’s: “Starting Something’.

    My sis and I, to this day, wait for the chorus of ‘mama-say-mama-sa-mama-ma-koo-sa’ and go nuts…even at 31 and 34. It brings us back to being little and our family and friends have no idea what we’re talking about.

    We live in different states, but moments like those remind us we’re sisters.

    Thanks for the chuckle. I’m calling her tomorrow:)
