Our first wedding of the year

We didn’t know this would be the first wedding we’d be attending this year until about a month ago.  We could not be happier that Rob’s grandma found Dean after his Grandpa Bill passed away.  Dean is a warm an wonderful man and they are really happy together. Look how giddy Rob’s grandma looks in the pictures. And of course I got some cute pics of the little girls in the family- 2 month old Elizabeth and 27 month old Emma.

We went for dinner at a buffet afterwards and Emma got down to business with the ice cream. Kathie just loves being grandma and Lizzie stares at her intently. Rob got to feed her and she held his finger with quite a bit of strength. Then Auntie K got to hold Lizzie and burp her. On the way out of the Sirloin Stockade, we found the best crane game prize ever.  Just what every kid wants- Harry Truman! They also had a janky Itchy and Scratchy toy and buried in the corner was another president- Ulysses S Grant. Then we got home and Nico was sleeping on the pueblo.

Vegas Baby!

So, I have been sick as a dog for the last two weeks it seems like. I had a really bad chest cold, and I was still getting over it when we went to Vegas for Jen and Tony’s wedding. I don’t really think I felt healthy again until the day before we left Vegas. Then when I got home, I almost feel more congested- allergies perhaps?

Anyway, Vegas. Halloween day- Rob and I went to the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum (which is an arcade with awesome pinball machines from old to new) and ate El Pollo Loco for the second of 3 times while we were there. I left my phone at the Pinball Museum and had to drive back to see if they had it because there is no phone there. Then we dressed up and went to dinner at Trader Vic’s. The drinks were great and the food was good, but not fabulous. I miss the Trader Vic’s in Chicago. For the record, I was Elvira and Rob was a Ghostbuster. It was funny because people really responded to Rob’s costume yelling all kind of stuff from the movie and the obvious “Who ya gonna call?” at him. Elvira- well, when we walked past Margaritaville, people got it, so I don’t know what that means.

Wedding day was Thursday and I don’t think I have any pictures of me on my camera. Anyway, Jen looked gorgeous. Mandalay Bay has a great wedding chapel, and the reception dinner was at the Bootlegger Bistro and it was awesome. I took a few pictures of Jen and Tony around various places. They all look the same- just in different places. I need to learn how to pose people.

The next day we went to the Neon Boneyard and it was super cool. I highly recommend it! It was just really neat! You can get info on tours from the Neon Museum.

Our last night we went and saw the Cirque de Soleil show Love which has the Beatles’ music in it. It was awesome. We sat next to a dutch guy who was the president of Best Western Hotels in the Netherlands. I asked him if Leep meant anything in Dutch and his wife told me it was a weird person. Sounds about right.

Pinball Hall of Fame pics coming later- check my Flickr tomorrow. In the meantime, here are the Flickr sets I’ve already posted:

Jimmy and Beth had a beautiful wedding in lovely South Bend. The Impalas kept everyone dancing at the reception. There were 4 toasts! Everyone had so much fun! The newlyweds are in Italy for two weeks right now. I’m sure they are having a ball!

You can see the whole set of pictures that Rob and I took when not doing our usher and bridesmaid duties.

Mike and Diana’s professional wedding pictures are up (for those of you in the family who visit here to see what’s going on- even if I rarely post). Go to Pictage and in the search box under “Find an event” type in “Leep”. Pick the Event that says “Leep and Radomille Wedding”, not the one that says “haydee leep prints”. It will ask you for your name and email for the guestbook (I believe you have to register to see them) and then you’ll see the wedding pics. They are divided into sections like Reception, Formals, Rehearsal and Ceremony. You’ll have to use the menu to check out eah section. Their photographer was Jennifer Angeloro and her team and Jennifer and her assistants did a wonderful job!

You can also order prints direct from Pictage, so if you were there and there’s a cute shot of you that you want, you can order it direct from the site.

You can also check out Rob’s pictures from the wedding on my Flickr pages. Actually, I’ve been using Flickr to upload most of my pictures. So if you want to see the most recent pictures from my life, I would bookmark my photos on Flickr. If you are registered witb Yahoo! Photos or Flickr, you can order prints from Flickr and pick them up at your local Target.

I think the most recent pictures on my Flickr page are from Dylan’s First Birthday. So scoot on over there and take a look!
