My house is finally on the market

My mom and Paulo (my sister-in-law Diana’s dad) have been busting their butts doing repairs and repainting at the old house and the sign went in the yard today. It’s in a great neighborhood with the Monon Trail in the backyard, tons of square footage, 4BR/2.5BA, and a new kitchen. I’m pretty pleased with the pictures, but discovered that I will need to invest in a better wide angle lens to really show off houses in the future. Asking price is $319,900, so if you know anyone looking for a house in Broad Ripple (the Canterbury neighborhood just east of the Monon trail between Kessler and 54th St.), send them my way. Or if you know anyone wanting to get their hands on some Indianapolis real estate, make sure you let me know.

Eeeeee!! I HEART ART!

ETA: And again, another blog post, where I tell you about blogs that I read instead of writing one of my own. It wasn’t intentional! Maybe I’ll Start a series Called “Blogs I Read When I Should Be Writing One for You”
So, my amazing artist, new friend, and wedding phtographer- Jessica Strickand took some awesome new pictures of me for some print and ad things I have in the pipeline for the real estate business. She is totally awesome and I cannot recommend her enough. You can see a few more pictures on her blog.
Here’s one for a preview (don’t worry Jessica, I uploaded a copy on my own, so I am not leeching your bandwidth):

I visit Jessica’s blog and the blog of my OTHER wedding photographers, Stacy and Mary, on a weekly basis. They totally rock out too. They are photographing our wedding rehearsal dinner festivities at the zoo. They (and their work- and to be fair, I haven’t actually met Stacy yet) are way amazing too- just a different kind of amazing!
I am so lucky to know and have been acquainted with so many talented people. The world is beautiful enough just looking at it through my own eyes on most days, but knowing lots of talented artists, musicians, and photographers just make the world seem even cooler and life even better sometimes. I am such a cornball nerd.
